The responsibilities

  • Creating and managing project specific, Inspection Test Plans, QA Checklist & Handovers.
  • Designing and implementing new quality standards and procedures.
  • Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines.
  • Inspecting on site installations to ensure that they meet quality standards before handover to client.
  • Maintaining documentation of procedural changes.
  • Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards.
  • Maintaining quality records ready for presenting as part of third-party accreditation audits.
  • To further develop, enhance and improve the office and site-based structure and systems.
  • Be able to travel to multiple sites and lodge over night when required.
  • Be able to produce progress reports, inspections, and hand over documents.
  • Be able to keep the highest levels of confidentiality. Non-disclosure forms will be required to be signed.
  • To be able to monitor installation efficiencies and highlight any issues that might arise from either Boreas or the client's non-conformances.
  • To ensure any onsite non-conformances are recorded via QA processes.
  • Producing the snagging and defect reports and closing out of the reports in order to handover the project to the highest possible standard.
  • Designing and implementing new quality standards and procedures.

The candidate:

  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • IT literate and a good understanding of software systems including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimum two years experience as Site or Quality Assurance Manager within the construction industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • SSSTS or similar management qualification is preferable. Training can be provided.
  • Be proactive in revising systems of work to be more efficient.
