SURREY (3 DAYS PER WEEK ON-SITE) Harnham is excited to bring you an opportunity to partner with a globally leading technology company specialising in R&D You will be joining a department specialising in their gaming ecosystem and supporting the tech company and video game partners to optimise their products on their platforms

As a Senior Game Optimisation Engineer, you will be:
Developing plugins, Android APIs and demos to support and improve the performance of video games on their platforms
Work closely with game companies and provide them with actionable insights on how to better optimise their games for the client's devices
Study how to improve the performance of apps on their platforms, particularly focusing on CPUs.

A degree in a related field such as a STEM subject.
Experience in game engine optimisation, particularly Unity, Unreal Engine or similar
A background in supporting game or tech companies with video game optimisation
Strong modern C++ skills
Experience working with Android development (Perfetto, ADB, Gradle)
Java and/or C# would be a bonus

6 month initial contract with extensions very likely
~3 days per week in their Surrey office
~ Opportunity to travel the world for 2 weeks at a time to destinations in Europe, North America and Asia
~ Opportunity to attend industry events overseas
