Job Summary: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias, you will be responsible for providing specialized engineering services to support the facilities management needs of the client in London. Working as part of the Integral UK team, you will ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standard, contributing to the efficient operation of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment within the client premises in London.
  • Conduct fault-finding, diagnosis, and repairs on mechanical systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all service requests and breakdowns, prioritizing tasks to meet client needs and in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team and service partners to deliver an exceptional level of service to the client.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, adhere to company policies and procedures, and work in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to log, track, and close out maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes, procedures, and energy efficiency, reporting findings to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline).
  • Previous experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, preferably within a commercial or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, boilers, pumps, and plumbing.
  • Technical proficiency in fault-finding, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and adherence to safe working practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other relevant technology platforms.
  • Relevant certifications, licenses, or additional trade qualifications are advantageous.
