Asset Management: Investment Operations Analyst

This exciting role is at the forefront of transforming, embedding and monitoring how we deliver strategic and complex change across the business. As the Portfolio Analyst, you will be part of a small team supporting the analysis of the Strategic Change Portfolio, driving insight to inform quality decisions at local and senior level (Financial, Resource, RAID, Decisions etc). Acting as an SME for best practice across the IMPO and delivery community to ensure we are continuously improving our delivery frameworks, controls and guidelines to ensure added value and delivery to time, cost and quality.
Gathering independent evidence and providing both detailed analysis and executive summary reporting covering multiple factors including (but not limited to) delivery status (RAG), milestone and RAID-D reporting, quality reviews and Post Investment Reviews to gain insight and confirmation that the information is valid and that the Programmes and Projects will achieve their Business Investment Committee (BIC) commitments. (g Return on investment, OKRs).
Using data driven analysis to provide insight and recommendation on status of committed Programme and Project outcomes (time, cost, quality, scope, benefits), to achieve the best possible result for HL and our clients.
Managing and maintain Portfolio level reporting, provide detailed analysis on Programme and Project status to produce an aggregated Portfolio view, including delivery status, OKR and commitment trackers for consumption by ELT, Board and SLT stakeholders.
Experience of Change Management and/or Delivery Assurance with understanding of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Project Financials, RAID-D management, planning, status reporting, stage-gate concepts.
Exceptional data gathering, analysis and assimilation skills, working with varied and complex data sets (e.g. Excel expert).
Critical thinking and evaluation, with evidence of being able to identify risk and opportunities and supporting in implementing any mitigating action.
This role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This is a permanent full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern of working in the office and at home.
