Activities include taking the people we support to: The local disco 2-3 times a week, Cinema trips, Meals out, pub trips, Bowling, Snoozelum, Shopping, Farm trips, Daytrips such as the zoo, Walking activities, boat trips, etc.This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviours.
