Warwickshire, United Kingdom Mercury Full time

Mercury is not just a company; we’re a transformative force in the world of SaaS for recruitment and staffing firms. Since our founding in 2014, we’ve been at the forefront, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and innovation that has allowed us to create a ground breaking SaaS platform, based on the Microsoft D365 and the Power Platform.

With a global presence in strategic locations, including Coleshill, London, Boston, Chicago, and Sydney, we’ve expanded at an impressive pace, breaking into Australia in 2019 and the US in 2020. We are now a dynamic team of 140 employees, and we’re not stopping there – we’re on track to double in size over the next 24 months.

Mercury is all about our customers, with over 100 worldwide and 8,000+ users experiencing the transformative power of our solutions. We’ve seen remarkable growth in headcount, surging by over 125% in the last two years. As a dedicated SaaS innovator, we are here to simplify and enhance the operations of recruitment and staffing firms.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the continuous enhancement and improvement of Mercury’s Dynamics Solutions, taking part in full stack software development to deliver cutting-edge solutions for customer.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Developers, QAs, and Product Owners within an Agile development team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software increments that meet the evolving needs of customers.
  • Take the lead in ensuring code quality and adherence to standards through thorough code reviews, promoting a culture of excellence in software development practices.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of the entire Mercury product suite, contributing to its evolution and serving as a key player in discussions related to requirements, design, and development during backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.
  • Proactively manage expectations of key stakeholders, including the Development Team Lead, Development Manager, Product Owners, Development Teams (Developers and QAs), and the Technical Architect, fostering strong relationships for collaborative success.
  • Be a vital part of a small, agile development team, contributing not only to coding tasks but also actively participating in discussions related to backlog refinement and sprint planning, ensuring the effective planning and execution of development initiatives.

Who you are

  • Proficient in C# and JavaScript for solution development, with skills in creating and optimising SOAP and RESTful webservices.
  • Experienced in customising Dynamics 365 solutions, enhancing functionality, and ensuring an optimal user experience.
  • Skilled in Unit Testing, ideally using MSTest or NUnit, ensuring the reliability and robustness of developed solutions.
  • Familiar with Source Control systems (TFVC and/or GIT), maintaining an organised and collaborative development environment.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies in Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud services to enhance solution scalability and efficiency.

Location

At Mercury, we believe in the value of face-to-face collaboration. That’s why we encourage our team members to join us at our Coleshill office 2 days per week. However, we’re all about flexibility, so we support remote work the remainder of the week if that’s your preference.
