This role will eventually lead to a Development Manager position, offering an exciting opportunity for career growth. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background, preferably within the food industry.
Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations to enhance machine and process effectiveness.
Assist in managing engineering projects from inception through to completion, including writing equipment specifications, managing resources, implementing and monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with budgetary limitations.
Adhere to company Health and Safety requirements and provide hands-on support to the Engineering team.
Good working knowledge of PLC and servo drive / control systems.
IT literate, Competency in CAD, ideally 2D AutoCAD.
Experience in installing and commissioning new equipment.
Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and contractor management.
25 days annual leave, inclusive of a shutdown at Christmas plus bank holidays.
~ Company sick pay up to 24 weeks (increasing with years of service).
