Experienced Overheads Property Manager required for a large, successful retail business based at their Head Office in Plymouth. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Finance Manager, you will be involved in various day to day operations of the finance department. - Ownership of all property P&l & Balance sheet codes to include:
- Rent
- Rates
- Insurance
- Utilities
- Fixed Assets
- Repairs & Renewals
- Monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals to support month end close
- Full end to end process of Accounts payable of property invoices.
- Review of Capex / repairs expenditure
- Updating the FA register
- Streamlining existing procedures
- Analyzing P&L costs & variances against budget.
- Annual Budgeting
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial qualification (AAT or equivalent) essential
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Team management
- High level of accuracy / organisational skills
- IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills
- Recognised and accredited accounting qualification
