About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant Trainee to join our Finance team at TQR Plymouth. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial performance reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Finance business partnering with key teams throughout the wider business
  • Review and challenge of monthly accruals for the wider business
  • Owning and challenging the output of the Overheads team
  • Overseeing sales ledger processes and manual payment processes
  • Monitoring revenue tracking processes for online and store operations
  • Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly regulatory returns (VAT, ONS, Intrastat)
  • Assisting with year end audit
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with experience in a commercial organisation, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy. A professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar) is desirable.
