Senior Facility Specialist Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area Salary - £47,180 (Negotiable dependent on relevant experience / qualifications) There is a possibility this role will require shift working. The Senior Facility Specialist role covers our facility management responsibilities and requirements across our highly regulated estates. Your primary responsible will be managing and delivering a workplace environment that is safe, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation, thus enabling delivery of requirements to meet the needs of our programme demanders. You will manage, support, and maintain a designated portfolio of facilities which may encompass a variety of processes and activities; one of your key focuses is to ensure maximum facility availability every day. Whilst delivering facility management activities, there will be requirements to act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders. You will also manage relationships with stakeholders, our suppliers and other partners ensuring that all safety and compliance aspects are delivered in accordance with the SLA's and KPI's link to a strict standard of management reporting. To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate some of the following: IOSH is a minimum requirement, but NEBOSH is preferred (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification). IWFM professional membership is preferred (or recognised equivalent professional body) Prior Facility, Health and Safety, relevant management experience is essential. Ability to drive continuous improvement by identifying problems, evaluating options and formulating effective process, system, and organisational solutions. Capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multitask role, managing priorities and delivering to challenging timescales. Decision making skills that have either a high degree of complexity or diversity and takes prime responsibility. Effective motivational skills, and a great collaborator. Logical and analytical thinker, enabling performance. To have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills. Experience working in/with project teams to ensure delivery of modifications to facilities/plant. All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas. #LI-ZB
