We currently have a great opportunity for a QA Supervisor to join us at our site in Crewe. This will be a 12 month Contract.
The main purpose of this role is to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Implementation and maintenance of customer COP
Support and assist with Unannounced Audit preparation including BRC and Audit Performance.
Investigate customer complaints and actively reduce
Maintain Quality Management System
Provide Quality/ Food Safety Training to Production teams
Management of the pest control site visits and non-conformance close outs
Drive Factory Hygiene and Quality Standards
Manage Environmental Swabbing Plan, Paperwork compliance checks, Taste Panel results, GMP, Glass & Plastic audits and relevant non-conformances
Raise Supplier complaints
Create and prepare procedures, forms, and product quality standards
Allergen running sequences, CCP's, Food Safety, and Control Material Usage Variance (Life)
Daily production date checks, Daily interface/support, Weekly review with Tech Managers, supervisors and planners, Swab % results, Raw Material Issues, Shelf Life Results, and Product Quality.

Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene
Level 3 HACCP
Experience in a QA Role in a food manufacturing environment
Good English (written, verbal) and good basic numeracy
current applicable food legislation, BRC Global Standard, and customer codes of practice
