Ecologist - Ipswich We are looking for an Ecologist to join a medium sized multi-disciplinary company in Ipswich. They have 4 other offices around the UK. They work on a range of projects in sectors including residential, commercial, education and conservation. You will be supported by a strong team of Ecologists, enabling you to gain valuable training and obtain protected species licences. The company offer paid CIEEM memberships, a generous holiday allowance, charity social events throughout the year, paid overtime or TOIL, retail discounts and paid CIEEM memberships. What You'll Do: Conduct ecological surveys and assessments. Analyze data and prepare reports for environmental impact assessments. Develop and implement strategies for habitat restoration and conservation. Provide expert advice on biodiversity conservation and environmental management. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field. Strong fieldwork skills and experience with ecological survey techniques. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing. Ideally Level 3 FISC qualified. Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
