Mobilisation Manager

Ventro Group are looking for a Mobilisation Manager; this role will ensure the successful transition of newly awarded contracts and variation works from sales to delivery.
This will be achieved through working closely with the Bid & Sales Teams at tender stage, overseeing the mobilisation phase, ensuring the seamless handing over the project to the operations lead and supporting the operations team during the transition through to steady state.
Main Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensure the timely effective mobilisation, re-mobilisation and de-mobilisation of contracts.
- Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
- Conduct a review of each project once processed by the sales team to ensure commercial viability and ensure all necessary information has been provided to be able to mobilise.
- It will also be the responsibility of the mobilisation manager to coordinate the completion and updating of project forecasts fortnightly.
- Responsible for management of the mobilisation budget, ensuring each mobilisation is successfully delivered within the budget and time constraints.
- Co-ordinate the relevant business support departments at various stages throughout the process.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Ensure documentation is set up by respective stakeholders and producing accurate and relevant mobilisation reporting.
- Conduct meetings/conference calls with stakeholders ensuring the mobilisation plan is updated and kept to.
- Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
- Complete admin tasks as required
- Liaise with Stakeholders to ensure delivery of training on sites and comprehensive briefing of business processes and procedures for site managers
- Review tender/contract scope of works.
- Highlight any issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the project
Person Specification:
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects and across multiple locations at any time.
- Mobilisation/Project management experience.
- Ability to travel within business operational area at short notice.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work to a programme with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – Written and Oral
