Merrifield Consultants are excited to be partnering with Your Place, a charity dedicated to solving homelessness in East London, one person at a time. The charity are looking for a Senior Fundraising Manager to provide direction and manage the team responsible for fundraising through individual giving, legacies, community and corporate partnerships. This is a maternity cover contract for one year and the post-holder will also be responsible for Major Donor relations and income.

Contract : Maternity cover (1 year)
5, Monday to Friday
Location : Hybrid/Canning Town, East London Office (fully remote working will be considered for the right candidate)

Your Place is a growing charity, helping people who have lost their homes to regain their self-belief and re-build their lives. They work closely with each person who comes through their doors, guiding them to meet their own needs through one-to-one and peer-led support. With specialist teams and a compassionate community around them, residents make their own journey to independent living - and to a better place. This role and its responsibilities are critical in the charity’s growth and delivery of strategic goals through brand development, stakeholder engagement and delivery of some key streams of fundraised income. This role will work closely with the new Head of Fundraising and Communications role which has recently been created, and with an established Trusts Fundraising Manager, to support diversification/growth of income streams.

Experience of planning and delivering fundraised income growth
Brand management experience
Experience producing communications and/or fundraising plans in the charity sector
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills, including the Microsoft Office package, databases and digital media platforms
