  • Quality Assurance Management experience on a London Underground / Network Rail project
  • Degree qualified or equivalent extensive experience within a Quality role.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Practical experience of developing, implementing and improving quality management systems to ISO 9001.
  • Member of Chartered Quality Institute or an appropriate engineering institute
  • Be a competent auditor
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage their own time.
  • Able to encourage and motivate people of all levels.
Quality Assurance Manager Role & Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Management System to ISO9001 and contract requirements
  • Implement and maintain a Quality Plan compliant with ISO 10005
  • Establish self-certification processes and effective way of monitoring this efficiently
  • Provide training for Quality processes to team
  • Manage team
  • Identify supply chain capabilities to meet quality requirements on the project / review their quality plans.
  • Educate team on acceptance of ITPs (Inspection Test Plans)
  • Compile quality records
  • Educate and advise on non conformities and issues and analyse trends to identify causes and ways of improvements.
  • Manage audit process and review on quality management system
  • Produce information and dashboards for reviews
