Business Development Executive at VoucherCart

VoucherCart is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their fast-growing team based in Edinburgh.

As a pioneering and rapidly growing global technology firm, VoucherCart is a global market leader in SaaS voucher and gift card technology, allowing businesses to create, promote, sell, and redeem gift cards, vouchers, tickets, and memberships. We’re revolutionising the way businesses sell, driving prepaid revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and retention.

With a focus on new and existing business development, you will form part of a talented multi-disciplinary team from our base in Edinburgh working across customer relationships, onboarding, technical, content creation and marketing disciplines.



ABOUT THE ROLE

 

This is an exciting and varied role that will use your skills with a focus on:

  • Customer onboarding
  • Make recommendations to help drive revenue for their business
  • Client Interviews and Case Study Production

You will develop deep knowledge of the VoucherCart platform to provide demos to prospects from the Hotel, Spa, and Restaurant sectors.

  • Comfortable communicating at the C-Suite/Senior Management level, you will identify new sales opportunities and develop existing accounts.
  • Be responsible for speaking to and building relationships with potential prospects and demonstrating efficiencies of the system.
  • You will demonstrate the value through emails, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • You will be able to reach out lead and schedule a demo when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
  • You will respond to and qualify incoming leads.
  • You are self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • You will conduct system Training Sessions for new and existing clients
  • Previous experience within the Hospitality Industry is advantageous.

This role is suited to self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic, highly ambitious individuals, confident with technology (although full system training will be provided).

You will have some business and commercial knowledge specific to at least one of the following market sectors:

  • Hotels
  • Restaurants
  • Spa, Health and Wellbeing

You may be allocated to one or more of the following regions - EMEA, Australasia, Asia Pacific, North America.

 

Requirements :

 

You will need to be/have:

  • Articulate, Confident, and Polite in a professional manner.
  • A track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets in recent sales roles.
  • Highly driven and focused, comfortable working on your own initiative and taking ownership for delivery of targets.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to high standards/quality of customer service.
  • Experience in customer testimonials, case studies, and other relevant content writing.
  • Computer literate, you’ll be confident with the web, software, and technology of eCommerce and online sales - (You'll be required to conduct screen share demos with clients internationally)
  • Knowledge of Hotels, Restaurants, Spa/Beauty and Leisure Sectors
  • A Sales & Marketing skill set and/or technical/commercial qualification bias.

Responsibilities:

 

Maintaining good communication with customers in relation to each customer’s specific voucher sales needs, and assisting and advising where necessary with their voucher advertising and sales strategies for their full working year.

  • Onboarding and account management of new clients.
  • Outbound prospecting and boarding of new customers
  • Attending and hosting customer training screen-shares and webinars
  • Maintaining good communication with customers in relation to the specific voucher sales needs and advising on sales strategies for their full working year.
  • Contacting and Boarding of pre-qualified prospects gathered via direct sign-up, Inbound Tel/email enquiry DM/other.
  • Reporting horizontal/vertical scaling opportunities.
