Account Director - Innovative Marketing Agency - £Competitive salary - Hybrid - London

Our client is an innovative and expanding Marketing Agency, founded by a multi-faceted entrepreneur with many decades of experience across a number of sectors. They are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Director with strong Marketing/Agency and Start-up experience to work alongside the founder and oversee the delivery of exciting creative solutions to their growing client base.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing, growing, and energising powerful and creative PR and Communications strategies, building relationships, and leading a very small but busy marketing team. With a proven track record in strategic branding and marketing, you will be directly involved in shaping the direction and culture of the company and will play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of this up-and-coming agency.

The role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the agency
  • Provide creative guidance across all PR and Marketing campaigns
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is delivered across all projects
  • Identify new strategic partnerships and business opportunities
  • Ensure the retention and growth of key client accounts
  • Mentor and train junior staff, monitor performance, set targets, and inspire excellence

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong commercial mindset with proven experience of overseeing innovative PR and Marketing strategies, and delivering measurable results
  • Start-up experience and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the focus and drive to grow and lead an exciting new venture
  • An operational outlook, with a focus on today and an eye on tomorrow
  • Confident and enthusiastic, exhibiting a can-do attitude, able thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • An inspirational leader who loves a challenge, and is ready to pitch in and bring their creative energy to key projects
  • Operational strength in all areas of marketing with recent operational digital and pitching experience
  • A background in construction or similar sector would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to succeed

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join a highly successful entrepreneur and help grow and lead a dynamic and innovative marketing agency. The ideal candidate will be able to “think outside the box” and operate well in a fast-paced environment. There is a competitive package on offer for the right candidate. The role is a hybrid position with 2/3 days in London.
