About Our Client

My client, who are based in Witney, are looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive to join their expanding, high-performing Customer Service team.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Executive include:

* Customer relationship management.
* Processing orders.
* Offer alternative products for out of stock items.
* Promote new products.
* Maximise order book fulfilment by liaising with Supply Chain and Warehouse.
* Be able to give technical information on products confidently over the telephone.
* Delight customers, above and beyond the call of duty (go the "extra mile").
* Have detailed knowledge of the customer's requirement.
* Have empathy for a customer's problem.
* Think "outside the box" and offer achievable solutions to problems.
* Be able to communicate concisely and effectively, both written and over the telephone.
* Handle complaints professionally and aim to resolve the situation amicably.
* Develop good working relationships with internal departments.
* Be able to suggest improvements in processes and procedures.
* Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
* Ad-hoc administrative tasks.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Customer Service Executive will:

* Have previous customer service experience (desirable, but not essential)
* Have a pleasant and friendly style
* Work accurately with an eye for detail
* Be able to absorb training and instructions in order to work independently
* Be a team player
* Have an enthusiastic and confident approach/telephone manner
