Then we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager, reporting into the Operations Director, based at either of our manufacturing sites in Whitstable or Vantage Point, Snodland. As the new Quality Manager, you will lead the quality teams across our Whitstable and Vantage Point sites and will work in close partnership with the Engineering & Operations team to address current challenges in both the office and factory, introducing new processes & procedures and driving continuous improvements across the full product life cycle. The Quality Manager will work with the wider team to make sure that our products are safe, reliable, and meet customer expectations by challenging the processes, equipment, and people to improve capability, reliability, and performance. Overall quality representation in Whitstable and Vantage Point sites, responsible for product and process adherence
Set and improve the organisation quality metrics, including Scrap, Warranty cost and cost of poor quality
Provide guidance and leadership to the Quality Engineers and inspectors on a daily basis
Responsible for ISO compliance audits and site quality standards
Work with Design teams to ensure quality is involved throughout the product lifecycle
Play an active and influential role in the Operations management team

Formal further education in an Engineering/scientific discipline such as engineering degree or HND
Evidence of structured training in a Quality discipline such as Statistical process control Six Sigma Green or Black belt

At least 10 years in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing company
People management skills and experience
