Are you a dietitian with broad range of clinical experience and an interest in working within Haematology? A permanent 0.5hours/ week) opportunity has become available within our Haematology Team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. The post covers both inpatient and outpatient caseloads within Haematology (including lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma, bone marrow transplant). As a service, we are committed to continuing professional development for all our staff that includes attending recognised training courses, involvement in service development and audit.
The post holder will provide clinical support within haematology as part of a shared Dietetic caseload. The successful candidate will support complex nutritional interventions, as well as nutrition support and enteral feeding, so experience in these areas would be beneficial. You'll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload and that of other members of staff within a supportive team. The Dietetic service is part of the Therapies and Rehabilitation Services pathway, which is one of the pathways that together make up the Clinical Support Division at NUH. We are a diverse pathway of AHPs and support staff, employing over 600 staff, who work together to deliver the high quality care we aspire to. Our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprise of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists. There are also Practice Development Therapists to support career development for all.
You should have experience of working as a dietitian, have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, have a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and buys workload within a supportive team. Nutritional support skills are essential and additional training and support will be provided. Experience in Haematology
