Job Description
My client is seeking a very experienced Operational Risk Professional to join the First Line of Defence (FLOD) of the Corporate and Investment Bank with clearly demonstrable knowledge of all programme components.
The role is focused on the execution of the Operational Risk programme to include Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA's), Metrics, Operational Risk Event reporting, Scenarios, Control Testing, and the tracking of any remediation.The Successful Applicant
- Experience or knowledge in a regulated Wholesale financial services context, preferably within a tier 1 Investment Banking/ Wholesale Bank organisation
- A minimum 2 years Operational Risk Management experience is needed
- Extensive experience and working knowledge of operational risk management preferably within the 1st line of defence
- Knowledge and understanding of Basel Operational Risk principles
- Experience in automating operational risk processes and innovating around data highly desirable
- Able to manipulate interrogate multiple sources of data and translate into meaningful business insight
