We are looking for a Clinical Lead to join our multi-disciplinary team in our day-care clinic. At the heart of our approach is a commitment to working collaboratively; providing expert, evidence-based and innovative treatment with kindness and compassion at its core. The Clinical Lead is a pivotal role in the delivery of the Day Care Service. On a day-to-day basis the Clinical Lead provides real time support to all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, both in person and online. You will work with the team throughout the lifecycle of the clients journey with Orri, ensuring we provide timely and responsive admission, meaningful treatment programmes and appropriate discharge and onwards support. Alongside our compliance team, you will ensure the service is meeting its regulatory requirements and ensure it continues to deliver outstanding care across the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry. You will attend key SLT meetings including Handovers, Flash meetings, service meetings and provide timely updates to the Clinical Managing Director where risk or concerns are present. You will support risk management and safeguarding, and manage concerns, complaints and complements. Clinical Oversight:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team, including therapists and support team members, to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
  • Oversee the reasoning and implementation of individualised treatment plans for clients, ensuring treatment plans are reflective of clinical and individual needs.
  • Conduct regular case reviews and line management sessions to monitor client progress and address any challenges or concerns.
  • Accountable for day to day operational and clinical management of resource, leading on demonstrating a safe service. Direct report to Head of Clinical through weekly direct reporting of admissions/discharges/KPIs
Team Management and Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical team members, ensuring that they receive appropriate training and orientation.
  • Provide ongoing line management, support, and performance feedback to clinical team members to promote professional growth and development.
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members.
Program Development and Evaluation:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of clinical services.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Stay informed re; emerging trends and best practices in the field of eating disorder treatment to inform program development and decision-making.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including clinical and operational to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
  • Facilitate regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organisational policies and procedures related to clinical services.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to monitor adherence to clinical protocols and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Incident and event management including concerns/complaint oversight and integration of learning within the team.
  • Oversight of the Overarching local action plan, risk register and wider QI projects focusing on safe and responsive services.
  • CQC dashboard reporting and management via reportable incidents including safeguarding's.
Client Engagement and Support:
  • Complex case management of clients with high eating disorder risk or and/or complex co-morbid needs requiring close management and clinical oversight to ensure safety and co-ordination of care
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients as needed, including individual and group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and clinical team, addressing client concerns, providing support, and advocating for their needs.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Accredited clinician (lead nurse, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist).
  • Experience or exposure to eating disorders.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in handling complaints, managing risks, safeguarding.
  • Experience with general compliance, and familiar with CQC standards and requirements.
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
