Job Title: HGV Driver

66 per hour with overtime paid at x1.Shifts : Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm plus overtime. Average 10 hour shift per day with 1 hour unpaid break

Contract: Permanent
Manpower are looking for a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver to operate from our clients Newbridge site, collecting waste streams from businesses throughout the Scotland area. In this role you will be responsible for the collection and safe transportation of waste to and from the Newbridge site. This will be a variety of waste streams, including general human waste, dry and recycled waste, sludge, and slurry from major clients such as Scottish Water and Diageo. As an employee you will follow you will ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of waste to avoid damage and maintain compliance with safety standards. You will also be required to perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working order before beginning the route.
The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.
Cat C Licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to perform vehicle inspections
HGV driving experience
Previous experience in waste collection, logistics, or a related field is desirable
Knowledge of vehicle security including equipment and plant
