A specialist manufacturer of highly precision machined parts and components, offering end to end manufacturing from Concept to Production, for a varied client base working within diverse industry sectors.

Investing heavily in state-of-the-art CNC Machine tools, Quality Control equipment and staff development year on year with £1.5m being invested last year alone.

Job Details

Due to continued growth, expansion and investment, there is a position now available for an experienced Sales Engineer with a background in the Precision Engineering sector, able to develop new business, generate quotations and service / build-out existing accounts.

Duties:

External & Internal sales (80% new business, 20% existing business) Provide excellent customer service, including after-sales communication and care. Answering customer queries on production requirements / issues. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the business and the precision engineering services the company can provide, and quality / standard of precision-machined parts and components the company can produce. Ability to work within the wider team to hit company targets, goals, and individual targets. Ability to analyse and present sales data to senior management. Knowledge of the latest industry trends, discoveries, and developments. Preparing accurate quotations and pricing for items in support of the customer requirements by gathering information from department and systems. Cost-saving and avoiding solutions. Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by reporting manager. Skills & Attributes:

Excellent understanding and knowledge of the production process of Precision Machined parts and components. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to liaise with all levels. Solid analytical skills & logical thinking. Good attention to detail. Able to explain technical and cost trade-offs to different levels of experienced industry members. Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings. Hours of Work:

7:45 am to 4:45 pm, Monday to Thursday 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Friday
