IT Disaster Recovery Analyst
Job Details
- Work with Business Continuity management to ensure that the disaster recovery (crisis management) and business continuity plans drive disaster recovery (DR) strategy and procedures.
- Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all recovery procedures and understand their interdependencies.
- Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command & control plans.
- Work with Technology Services & the wider business to lead on ensuring that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle.
- Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes and controls.
- Raise IT DR awareness across the business, working with operational & engineering teams, providing guidance, support and training where applicable.
Skills
- Assertive personality, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a Medium to Large Financial Services environment.
- Good technical, analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficient cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Guidewire and Microsoft 365 & Azure, DevOps, SharePoint, ServiceNow and Immersive Labs
- Proven experience in developing IT DR plans and co-ordinating IT DR testing activities or similar experience in other IT related planning activities.
