1:1 Teaching Assistant within a Secondary School

Contract Type: Long Term, Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Start Date: September start

Do you enjoy helping them learn and grow? We are looking for a 1:1 sen Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary School in Gloucester . As a teaching assistant, you will be working alongside the classroom teacher to support a Year 9 child, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Experience working with young children is required for this role, but no formal qualifications are necessary. As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life. You will be responsible for providing individualised support, building relationships with your student and their family, and working closely with the classroom teacher to create a supportive learning environment.

Experience: At least 30 days of experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Bring your positive energy and passion for education to the classroom.Assist teachers in the classroom with lesson delivery and student support.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
You will be paid a competitive daily rate.
