Our Community Healthcare Support Services form a nationwide network of localsupport groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart orlung condition or after a stroke.
The role of the Kindness Call Coordinator is to manage a telephone support service operating across the country,assisting those living with our conditions, who have become lonely or socially isolated.
Our Kindness Call Service is designed to provide a listening ear and an opportunity for those using the service totalk about what matters to them, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation and supporting themto live life to the full. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions; anunderstanding of the challenges faced by people with cardiac, respiratory and stroke conditions as well as LongCovid; an understanding of community service provision; Company pension scheme, generous holidayallowance, company sick pay, employee welfare support and life assurance.

The Advice Line Call Coordinator will respond to incoming phone calls/e-mails/text messages and direct service usersto the appropriate people/team within CHSS and be responsible for administration duties related to the AdviceLine with support from a team of volunteers. This role is home based but occasional travel across Scotland willbe required.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills who have a minimum 2 years’ experienceworking in a similar role within a health/social care setting and a basic understanding of medical terminology.Company pension scheme, generous holidayallowance, company sick pay, employee welfare support and life assurance.
