Benefits: Healthcare Scheme Attendance Bonus Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Extensive Training & Development Opportunities 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Refer a friend scheme Remit: Great opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join a forward-thinking company at their modern facility during a period of sustained business growth This position will suit a skilled Mould Setter / Technician with strong injection moulding processing and machinery knowledge The successful candidate will have extensive opportunities for further training and development through Sierra 57s onsite Mould Training Division Role: In the role of Injection Moulding Setter you will provide tool change support and maintenance cover for key machines As Injection Moulding Setter you will ensure mould changes are carried out to a high standard in line with manufacturing specifications in a timely manner Working closely with the leadership team to improve reliability and productivity of machines and equipment Carrying out planned and low level maintenance work in a safe and timely manner Assisting and supporting in the carrying out of production improvement projects Carrying out tool changes to ensure maximum availability of machines Ensure facilities upkeep is maintained Overseeing the operation of plastic injection moulding machines in the absence of the plant supervisor Assist with the training of new operators Experience Requirements: Industry recognized injection moulding qualifications Experience carrying out full tool changes and setting up production machines Solid understanding of plastic injection moulding processes and automation Experience of working with and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on injection moulding machinery Good problem solving skills Ability to work effectively to own initiative Key Words: Injection Moulding Setter, Injection Moulding Technician, Mould Technician, Setter Supervisor, Mould Process Technician, Setter, Injection Moulding, Plastics FOOTER Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
