Applebridge Construction is a highly respected civil engineering contractor situated in the North East of England and Yorkshire regions. Having worked in partnership with a variety of clients across an array of industries they have specialist experience across Speculative housing, Social housing, Health and Social care, Education, Law and Order, Retail, Infrastructure and Energy. With a strong focus on collaboration, Applebridge's approach is to engage early, offering pre-construction assistance, design advice, risk assessment, programme rationalisation and value engineering.

As part of their continued expansion, they are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of their contracts. Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules and working closely with other team members to ensure these are met
  • Ensuring compliance with contract requirements, including deadlines and performance standards
  • Managing contract change orders and scoping changes
  • Providing guidance to project teams on contract issues and requirements
  • Managing contract closeout processes.

Applicants should have extensive contracts management experience gained within the Construction Industry. This should incorporate Groundworks knowledge in addition to experience of working around live utilities. Sound commercial acumen is essential, supported by a solid understanding of costs, outputs and CVF's. You should also be proficient in the use of both Microsoft Office and program management software and possess an SMSTS and CSCS Supervisor card. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
