CRM Senior Account Manager

This is a Contract role starting ASAP for 3 months.
Our client are looking for both a Senior Account Manager , and an Account Manager , to manage campaign activities from briefing to deployment. The campaigns will largely be Email based but experience of SMS would also be beneficial. The main tool used for this project will be Acoustic, so exposure to this would be required. The client for the campaigns is in the Automotive sector so previous experience in this field would be ideal.
Senior Account Manager
Life as a Senior Account Manager at Merkle:
As a Senior Account Manager at Merkle, it will be your responsibility to ensure operational and strategic excellence is maintained across all areas of the account; including database management, campaign delivery, email management and reporting analysis. As such you will be working closely with key client stakeholders to ensure that key milestones are achieved i.e. approval of briefs, copy and assets.
The role will sometimes require you to travel and work onsite at the client based in Milton Keynes , however this will be rare.

What we are looking for in you
We anticipate the suitable candidate will possess circa 4+ years’ experience working in a digital/CRM/Data agency or client-side experience with thorough knowledge of databases and data driven marketing, campaign delivery and managing end to end CRM programs essential
Experience of managing commercials; working to agreed/scoped budgets & resource levels
Proven ability to understand marketing strategy and be able to work with the Client Service Director to ensure that this can be delivered through the customer communication programs
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gain gravitas with the client early on and act as the face of Merkle onsite
A team player with the ability to balance client priorities with agency commercials
Automotive experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

Duration: 3 months
Location: Mainly remote, some travel to Milton Keynes on occasion.
