About Us
HBSUK have developed a market leading Health technology – Virtual Lucy is our expert triage application designed to support patients through their assessment and treatment.
Virtual Lucy combines our extensive clinical network with modern technology to ensure that patients get the best out of their journey to recovery. We design streamline patient- centric pathways that are evidence-based and effective. The patients journey starts with self-referral via our digital triage expert followed by an online appointment booking with the correct specialist from our extensive network of clinicians.
Responsibilities
Bid Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement bid strategies to align with company objectives and market opportunities within the NHS sector.
- Analyse bid requirements and provide strategic guidance to ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.
- Feedback analysis of previous submissions
Bid Management:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process, including bid/no-bid decisions, proposal planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and compelling bid responses.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NHS procurement teams, to understand their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather insights, resolve issues, and incorporate feedback into bid submissions.
Proposal Development:
- Oversee the creation of bid documentation, ensuring it is clear, persuasive, and meets all technical and commercial requirements.
- Review and edit bid responses to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to NHS guidelines and requirements.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all bids are of the highest standard and compliant with NHS regulations.
- Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement and incorporate lessons learned into future bids.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor bid performance and success rates, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure bid effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Team Leadership:
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in bid management and NHS procurement.
Requirements
Essential
Education
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- Additional certifications in bid management or project management are advantageous
Experience
- Proven experience in bid management, preferably within the NHS or public sector market. Demonstrated success in leading complex bid processes and securing contracts.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of NHS procurement processes, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
