Attend any training and meetings necessary.Candidate requirements: Recent experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs. In particular ADHD, ASD, Complex Needs, SEMH, Behaviour and hearing impairment. Have a sound knowledge and understanding of support individuals with complex needs. A relevant qualification isn't essential but desired. Ideally a minimum of a level 2 in Health & Social Care or Teaching Assistant. Ability to work independently and follow instruction. Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education. Able to provide a minimum of 2 years worth of references including your most recent employer and a minimum of one commenting on your interaction with children.As this role is to start as soon as possible. The schools are looking to invite candidates in for a trial day for you to familiarise yourself with the surroundings and to ask any questions you may have.
