Job DescriptionCheckout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Card Payouts product team , one of Checkout’s core payment processing products. Card Payouts is live today and processes billions of USD equivalent TPV for our merchants across four different regions. This role represents a unique opportunity to add huge value to our merchants and directly influence the business’ growth.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of the Card Payouts product. It involves working with both external partners (such as the card schemes), as well various product, engineering and business teams at Checkout to bring the vision of the product to a reality. Doing this means working across all stages of the Product Life Cycle (Discovery, Delivery, Execution, Iteration), being an evangelist for the product both internally and directly to our merchants, as well as partnering with our Product Marketing and Commercial teams to help drive the growth of the product.
Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We’ve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space, while also being able to partner with colleagues globally. During your days at the office, we offer amazing snacks, breakfast, and lunch options in all of our locations.
QualificationsHow you’ll make an impact
Demonstrate cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, and build a skilled product team that enables bring value to internal and external stakeholders.
Gain a deep understanding of our clients and prospects pain points, drive prioritization for product development and unlock new capabilities
Develop product vision and product strategy to articulate how Card Payouts add value to merchants and CKO
Maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with the other product and engineering leaders and ensure alignment with their roadmaps and deliver coherently across the company
Make sure to understand desired outcomes, elicit requirements, and then translate them into coherent functionalities that can be easily implemented for our innovative and groundbreaking products
Synthesize and articulate business insights to deliver required specifications and conduct feasibility studies by analyzing impacts.
Be able to simplify the complex and diverse world of card payouts into a simple, consistent experience for our merchants
Identify and resolve risk early and support your engineering, design, research, product marketing, and other colleagues in project delivery
What we’re looking for
5+ years experience in Product Management, leading end-to-end product lifecycles from strategy to live
Strong understanding of and experience in working on Card Payment Processing products
Experience working on Card Payments or Card Payouts products
Experience with developing new and existing products
Can see beyond the current product horizon and create data driven product visions
You think from the customer perspective (both merchants and their end consumers) and are able to balance future opportunities with immediate needs
Data-driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
Effective communicator: you can get others excited about your product and manage multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions
