Job Description
We are seeking a Product Manager ( Processing Applications) who will be responsible for managing the end to end product management and optimisation of processing-specific applications, providing technical expertise to enhance processing operations.
This position will see you become part of a highly specialised team, who consistently push the boundaries of digital, technology, and automation innovation to drive a smarter, safer, and more sustainable enterprise.
Core Responsibilities (amongst others):
- Partnering with key stakeholders to define the strategy, vision and roadmap for growing the existing product and scaling this globally.
- Manage and support processing applications used for refining and manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with processing teams to optimise application workflows and performance.
- Advise with technical support for troubleshooting and resolving processing application issues.
- Stay updated with industry-specific processing applications and technologies.
- Conduct training sessions to educate processing staff on the effective use of applications.
- Evaluate and recommend new processing applications to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of effective portfolio management
- Effective E2E product management
- Effective stakeholder management
- Effective vendor management
- Understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum) and methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Aha).
- Awareness of enterprise data and has demonstrated success of working with data sources in mining, oil and gas, geoscience or similar disciplines, data integration, data lake and data quality workflows.
- Applications relevant to the mining industry & mining sector knowledge
- Data analytical tools and techniques to create accurate management reports for decision-making.
