Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Service Engineer to join our team, providing exceptional service within the HVAC hire sector , specifically focused on large boiler rental equipment .

The successful candidate will work independently, handling installations, servicing, and repairs both on-site and at the depot, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Mobile position with travel to sites and the depot in Falkirk. No overnight travel. Standard working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and servicing of large gas and oil commercial/industrial boilers at client sites and depots.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls, performing breakdowns, routine maintenance, installations, and deinstallations .
  • Inspect, clean, and service equipment returned from hire, completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and all necessary safety and electrical tests.
  • Refurbish HVAC rental equipment at the depot, including cleaning, painting, repairs, and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and effective service delivery to clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must Have :

    • Gas Safe qualification .
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with commercial/industrial boilers.
    • Valid driving license for site visits and travel between locations.
