Your new role Here at National Highways, we have an exciting new opportunity for a PMO Reporting Manager to join the Regional Investment Programme (RIP) working within our Major Projects directorate.
The successful candidate will be based at either our Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds office with a combination of office and home-based working with the expectation oftravel to Birmingham once per week for wider team meetings, if not based there.
In your role, you will support, develop and implement robust management and performance reporting for the Major Projects directorate to key internal and external stakeholders, provide accurate and timely performance reporting against business targets and provide flexible business support to ensure projects and work streams are delivered to time, quality, and cost, and compliant with National Highways governance frameworks.
Managing the preparation, critical analysis, and quality assurance of regular and ad-hoc Major Projects reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Identifying and critically analysing Major Projects business and management information to ensure robust management and rigorous control of the directorates delivery against business targets and objectives.
Building networking relationships and delivering proactive business support to key internal and external stakeholders to ensure on time, quality reporting requirements are met, and to enable projects and programmes to realise time, cost, quality, and efficiencies targets.
Continuously developing and improving performance reports to act as the catalyst for effective continuous improvement in accuracy and consistency.
Driving the achievement, identification, collation and reporting of efficiencies within the Major Projects directorate through ensuring adherence to the corporate process, analysing collated data, and effectively reporting information to senior leadership.
Support the management and development of resilient systems and processes to minimise risks and maximise efficiencies.
Experience working in a performance reporting role within a fast paced, results driven organisation and understanding of the benefits of a PMO team.
Experience of analysing, reporting, and understanding complex financial & project information by interrogating systems, with the ability to convey this effectively to a wide range of audiences.
Ability to work under pressure to ensure delivery of high-quality results to tight timescales with skills in maintaining excellent customer service.
Evidence of working successfully to influence behaviours and activities both within and outside the immediate team, via personal and digital toolsets.
The Regional Investment Programme (RIP) develops and delivers junction improvements, bypasses, projects of National significance and major infrastructure projects. We deliver capital improvements that will help to grow the economy and deliver wider social benefits and improve infrastructure. RIP is part of the Major Projects Directorate within National Highways.
