- Role Purpose/Responsibilities:

- The purpose of the CCO function is to enable colleagues within Digital Business Services (DBS) to deliver safe and secure services to all our customers, colleagues and the Bank itself.
- This will be achieved by:
- Enforcing robust risk governance and ensuring all stakeholders have visibility of key risks and any remediation activity.
- Partner and advise on setting, communicating and monitoring risk appetite in line with business requirements, including appropriate support and challenge.
- Conducting high quality and efficient reviews of our control performance.
- Facilitating controls remediation where required.
- Raising awareness and understanding of risks, controls and risk management.
- Continuously improving the control and monitoring of risk, including behaviours.
- Embedding the Bank’s Risk Management Framework

A Senior Manager is required as an integral part of the Operational Resilience Programme and be responsible to:

- Ensure robust actions and in place, that are tracked, monitored and seen through to closure. This will also involve working with the Programme Assurance Team to ensure material items are validated as part of closure. The role holder will ensure MI & reporting solutions are sustainable and proportionate, providing a model for other entities to adopt as and when vulnerabilities are identified.
- Reporting and MI to senior management and governance fora.
- Support Planning, Change Control, RAID, Governance, Reporting and other PMO activities for the central portfolio team.
- Support the design and have a lead role within the central portfolio management office whilst being able to support delivery across existing and new projects as part of the Programe.
- Act as a critical friend to Programme Leads as part of the full project lifecycle, from design to closure, and ensuring the associated stage-gates are supported and documented (e.g. traceability, change control processes, development of closure reporting etc.).
- Establish effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processes ensuring adherence to the group business change/transformation framework, representing DBS Programmes at Group Change Framework meetings.
- Maintain portfolio governance and controls to a high standard, including supporting objective setting.
- Coordinate and supporting Steering Committee and Working Group meetings etc.
- The role holder will need to build strong working relationships across the central DBS Programmes Team in addition to the wider transformation network. In addition to the Portfolio role, it is expected that the role holder will work closely, and where required, integrate within existing and new Delivery Programmes, as such will have:
- Proven experience of delivering large, complex change transformation programmes.
- Successfully designed and led PMO activities to support programme delivery across its full lifecycle.
- Experience in developing and constructively challenging plans, RAIDs and driving interlocks across regions, entities and lines of business, with a track record of being able to drive stakeholder engagement.

- Clarity, or equivalent Management Tool (across all functional aspects i.e. Plans, RAIDs) - advanced knowledge of reporting capabilities would be beneficial
