Position Overview As the New Business Development Manager, you will successfully promote and sell BAND-IT branded products, increase market share, improve profitability, grow current revenues, secure new stakeholders, distributors, OEM's and meet targets set by the Sales Director, as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (Strat plan).

  • Business Development and Support including growing business with distributor accounts and end-users.
  • Identify and create opportunities to present BAND-IT products and capabilities.
  • Engage with decision-makers in design, purchasing, manufacturing and quality sectors.
  • Problem Identification and Solution Selling by recognizing technical issues faced by customers that BAND-IT's clamping solutions can address.
  • Promote proprietary stainless steel clamping systems to solve these problems.
  • You will work closely with the distributor network to maximize sales opportunities and identify and develop new and existing distribution channels across multiple market segments.
  • Handle the daily commercial and technical interactions between BAND-IT and customers.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient communication.
  • Achieve assigned sales and profit targets for the designated area and markets.
  • Submit detailed visit and call reports and manage a growing sales funnel of opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Take ownership and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Sales Director in monthly meetings.
Key Requirements To apply for the Business Development Manager position you can be located anywhere within 2 hours of Chesterfield as this is a remote position, however you will need to demonstrate:
  • Strong understanding of technical sales, particularly in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with distributors and end-users.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets and managing KPIs.
  • Driving License is a must have requirement.
