My client is looking for a Registered Manager to run a brand new 3 bedded Children's Home for Young People with EBD

Located in Enfield, the children's will offer therapeutic care to children and young people with behavioural, emotional and social needs.

The children and young people we care for have experienced trauma that can lead them to display challenging behaviours in an effort to communicate with those around them. They require care from a reliable, committed, passionate and skilled staff team. Our aim is to create a secure, safe and nurturing environment for children and young people to be able to explore and understand their identities, whilst developing confidence and self-esteem. Staff will be enabled to provide a high level of care and support to children and young people through regular and ongoing training opportunities. Staff are ambitious for the children and young people we care for and committed to positively preparing them for adulthood.
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care. Developing and implementing individual care plans and risk assessments. Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of staff, fostering a positive environment.
Provide leadership and supervision to staff for high-quality care delivery.
Monitor and evaluate care quality, implementing improvement strategies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Manage budget effectively to meet children's needs.
Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing, maintaining high standards of care.
Ensure promotion of education, physical health, and emotional well-being. ? Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies. ? Work closely and collaboratively with senior leadership team, including RI and Managing Director
Minimum 3 years' senior management experience in children's residential care. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce. "Good" or "outstanding" grade in recent Ofsted inspections. Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Competitive Salary: £65k-£70k – based in London (10mins walk from Edmonton Green Station)
Bonus Structure: Monthly occupancy levels bonus: 1 child (nil), 2 children (£100 p/wk), 3 children (£150 p/wk) Monthly regulation 44 outcomes bonus: Inadequate/ Requires Improvement (nil), Good (£250), Outstanding (£500) Annual OFSTED outcomes bonus: Inadequate/ Requires Improvement (nil), Good (£2,500 or £5,000 if good in all areas), Outstanding (£5,000 or £10,000 if outstanding in all areas) 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays & birthday, increasing after 3 yrs service Pension scheme Health insurance Death in service cover of 4x annual earnings for all staff contributing to our Group Personal Pension Company Car option and Cycle2work scheme Free parking on driveway Free psychotherapy provided as part of your ongoing development. The successful candidate will play a key role in the registration process, completing an SC2 form linked to the organisation's SC1 submission to OFSTED. - In the 6 months before registration is received by OFSTED, the RM will be contracted and paid at a consultancy rate of £500 per day for 2 days per month to support the application and setting up of the .
