Human Resources Advisor x2

Permanent

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Hybrid and flexible working available – 3 days on site and 2 from home

Wilmslow

Salary up to £32,000 plus competitive benefits package, including up to 30 days annual leave (with service) plus public holidays, enhanced employer pension contribution, life assurance and on-site gym.

Medlock Partners have exclusively partnered with a not-for-profit, charitable organisation to help them appoint two experienced HR Advisors for their growing People Team.

Reporting into a respective HR Business Partner and working closely with a number of key stakeholders, you will provide advice and support on a wide range of generalist HR duties, including employee relations, policy and process and the delivery of key projects (absence management and upskilling of Managers), in line with employment law and HR best practise.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your HR experience to date, knowing that you are supporting an organisation who provides invaluable help and support to those in need.

Key responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor:

  • Provide professional advice and support to managers dealing with employment issues including disciplinary, grievance and harassment; attending hearings and ensuring that consistency, fairness and legal obligations are maintained.
  • Review and make recommendations on the update of Human Resources policies and procedures to reflect best practice and meets the needs of the organisation.
  • Assist the HR Business Partners in the development of appropriate standards and systems for measurement of HR related activities (HR metrics) contributing to and compiling business reports as required.
  • Design and deliver training programmes on HR related topics and practices e.g. induction training, people management for line managers.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the HR and Recruitment Assistants.
  • Provide customer focussed high quality HR information, coaching and advice to managers and employees.
  • Assist with recruitment initiatives as and when required.
  • Assist with a wide range of key HR projects to support the delivery of HR strategy.

Key requirements for the Human Resources Advisor:

  • will have worked in a similar HR Advisor role and ideally you will have worked within a healthcare or similar organisation.
  • of managing a wide range of employee relations casework.
  • will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider HR team.
  • to date knowledge of Employment Law and current legislation.
  • ability to develop credibility and trust, fostering positive working relationships with managers and key stakeholders.
  • you will be Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards this.
  • knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • in using an HRIS system.
  • to the Head Office location, it is essential that you are a car owner and driver (free parking is provided).
