Communications and Engagement Co-Ordinator

Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Engagement Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellent communication skills, a passion for products and enjoys achieving KPI’s to drive business growth.

The Engagement Manager will be instrumental in developing and delivering a high quality and relevant programme of webinars, engagement opportunities and communication for our members, focused on ensuring direct benefit designed to promote member growth and retention, as well as continuing to position the organisation as the leading industry body.

You’ll work individually and with marketing to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing brands within our community - Grow the brand network through strategic partnerships

- Write clear, concise, and compelling communications through email and blogs

- Help to organise trade shows and brand events

- Own the company LinkedIn account to engage with both industry professionals and brands

- Collaborate with marketing to shout about brand member spotlights across social media - Seek out sponsorship opportunities through businesses with aligned goals

- Manage brands to ensure they have a profile fit for retailers on the directory

- Develop marketing campaigns to maintain a strong brand voice and grow memberships - Prepare and deliver monthly webinars with industry leading experts

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities

- Collaborate with internal teams to support social media marketing

- Put together engaging presentations and engage with our retailer network - Ensure consistency in “voice”, tone, style, and branding.

- Provide feedback to the management team to improve services

- Build and establish our ‘customer’ brand profile

Qualifications:

- Proven experience of internal communications, preferably in a corporate setting.

- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Good IT skills.

- A clear understanding of the importance and role of content.

- Ability to prioritise, well organised with strong attention to detail.

- Self-starter, motivated, ability to work on own initiative, proactively share knowledge.

- Interest in and ability to understand the bigger picture on an organisational level.

- Experience of building effective external relationships.

- Critical appraisal skills – ability to review, evaluate and implement changes.

- Willingness to adapt and support team activities outside of the ‘core role’.

- Creative thinker with the ability to identify new business opportunities.

- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.

- Experience of social media referable

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field preferred, or proven marketing roles.
