SEND Teaching Assistant - Crawley

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a large and impressive mainstream secondary school in Crawley. Starting in October 2024, this is a full-time position expected to last approximately 1 year, with a pay rate of £84 per day.

The Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential. You will work closely with classroom teachers and the school's SEND team, providing tailored support to individual students and small groups. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, ensuring that students with additional needs are fully included, and helping to manage behaviour where necessary.

Location:

* Mainstream secondary school in Crawley

Pay:

* £84 per day

Key Requirements:

* At least 6 weeks of experience working with children and young people

* A DBS on the update service is essential

* Up-to-date safeguarding training is required

Start Date:

* October 2024, for approximately 1 year
