Quality Assurance Manager Assist the Head of QA & Systems with the preparation of project specific tender documentation as and when required. Support the regular review and update of quality related content that is regularly utilised within tenders. Pre-Construction

  • As directed by the Head of Quality & Systems, undertake initial site visits to ensure the following are undertaken.
  • Ensure the project operational site lead is suitably completing the project “Start Up Checklist” and as such supporting a well-planned & coordinated project.
  • Support the project team in the development of “Project Execution Plans” and other quality focused key project strategic documents / plans. Ensure suitably completed.
  • Support the project team in the development of a project specific inspection and testing regime in liaison with the Project Manager and TSM.
  • As directed by the Head of Quality & Systems, produce SnagR systems, for each project, in a timely manner.
  • Support the project team’s input to the Plexus risk register defining risks and opportunities.
Construction
  • Under the direction of the Head of QA & Systems, carry out regular site audits and inspections, using Nexus.
  • Engage with discipline leads and ensure discipline specialist inspections are completed such as Commercial / Document Control / Temporary Works.
  • Provide QA/QC & Systems specialist project team support, allowing them to quickly address areas of weakness and achieve consistently improved quality standards.
  • Assist with the provision of performance feedback for each Sub-Contractor relating to site delivery matters.
Handover
  • As directed by the Head of QA & Systems, ensure the project operational site lead is suitably completing the “Handover Checklist” and managing the Handover period.
  • Support the production of project Finalisation Plans.
  • Provide QA specialist support to project teams during handover, allowing them to quickly address areas of weakness and achieve consistently better QA standards.
  • Monitor the close out and completion of the works on site to Collins high standards.
  • Support the completion and handover of all documentation at practical completion.
  • Ensure we have a satisfied Client and professional team.
  • Support the archiving of project records
Aftercare Support the defects liability period and ensure defects are completed in a timely manner. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the review of post PC defects, root cause analysis and work with operational team to improve performance. As directed by the Head of QA & Systems, support project review and lessons learned post project handover. Assist with the provision of performance feedback for each Sub-Contractor relating to site delivery matters. Health & Safety & Environment Work with the HS&E team to ensure successful visits by our certificating body in relation to ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certification. Work symbiotically with HS&E team, to ensure suitable on-site best practice across all SHEQ disciplines. Work closely with HS&E to support deployment of effective assurance systems and as result an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management systems. General Company Duties Support the Head of QA & Systems with the update the Quality Policy with Board of Directors on an annual basis. Support the Head of QA & Systems in establishing, deploying, and capturing quality related performance measures data. Support the Head of QA & Systems with the development of best in sector digital management systems in liaison with the IT team, providing guidance support and training during roll out, where required. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the production and maintenance of guidance documents, related to our systems approach. Support the Head of QA & Systems in actions related to the “Big Rocks Action Team,” to support the development and deployment of board agreed business improvement initiatives. Work with the Head of QA & Systems, and our R&D Consultant, to capture and agree R&D opportunities. Champion “Four Principles “in the wider business, alongside other senior team members. Provide new starter Quality related inductions and ensure update of information. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the establishment of a suite of Quality related training sessions and ensure roll out based on a central business training matrix, including records. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the championing of lessons learned and continual improvement practices during project delivery. Champion the ongoing development and use of SnagR. Undertake trend analysis of SnagR defects raised across projects. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the production of quality related technical bulletins to the business. Support the Head of QA & Systems in the completion of management reviews in support of the business discharge of ISO9001 requirements. Support the Head of QA & Systems and the Senior Document Controller in the review and update of company administration / document control procedures. Support the SHEQ team in the maintenance of all certifications, as required including Collins SSIP membership. Manage new contractor approval process
