Working in a highly regulated industry, this position would be well suited to a candidate with experience of managing small teams as well as using tools such as 8D, PPAP and APQP. This position will see you join a market leader in their field within a business who provide excellent long term career development. Roles and Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Quality team, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders To lead operational Quality Engineers and Technicians. To lead the operational application of concern management, this includes using problem solving techniques such as 8D, 5Y and Ishikawa & providing feedback to customers. Complete regular Quality reviews with our customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. To provide concern analysis and develop improvement action plans. To lead, encourage and support continuous improvement projects and activities. To manage schedules of both destructive & non-destructive testing. To support with Quality elements of new product introduction. To identify and manage the training needs for the Quality department. Requirements Experience in using Quality tools and techniques such as, 8D analysis 5Y, Ishikawa. A working knowledge of PPAP elements such as PFMEA & control plans an advantage. Experience working with quality management systems and standards.
