This is a contract role for a Production Assistant at Al-Khair Foundation in Whitechapel. The Production Assistant will be responsible for tasks such as production assistance, quality control, customer service, editing, and teamwork. Managing all technical aspects of the production process required for good quality on screen programs
Assist in setting up and dismantling down equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
Help with the arrangement of sets, props, and other on-set materials.
Support the production crew during live broadcasts and recordings by managing scripts, cue cards, and other materials.
Assist talent and guests with preparations, including wardrobe and microphone setups.

Outdoor Production Support:
Assist in the transportation and setup of equipment for outdoor shoots, including location scouting, camera setup, and lighting.
Help coordinate with local authorities and locations for necessary permissions and logistics.
Assist in managing extras, crowd control, and the general public during outdoor filming.
Coordinate with the production team to adapt to changing conditions, such as weather or location issues.
General Production Duties:
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, call sheets, and production logs.
Assist in post-production tasks, including logging footage, and helping with basic editing tasks as needed.
Support the production team in maintaining an inventory of production supplies and equipment.
Liaise with various departments, including editorial, technical, and creative teams, to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Take initiative to solve production-related issues and provide support wherever needed.
To perform any other reasonable task required for the effective running of the production
To comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements
To hold a valid passport and be willing and able to travel extensively and at short notice.

Production Assistance and Quality Control skills
Editing skills
Experience in a similar production or nonprofit environment is a plus
Demonstrable experience in production and programming, Tricastor and audio panel.
