This is for a Designate Store Manager position. Our Designate managers are a vital support to our management team. As a Designate Store Manager, you will be supporting retail stores across the Halfords group within a reasonable travel time across the county and leading the instore teams with support, encouragement, and motivation.
You will be able to transfer your current leadership experience to the role and receive the best training ready for when you take on a permanent Store as the appointed Store Manager. You will have an amazing support network that you will have built up whilst training and be ready to deliver the leadership to our instore team and amazing service to our customers.
Our Store Managers are great leaders that inspire, motivate, and engage the team to deliver an amazing in-Store experience to our customers through living by our core values.
No two days are the same in our retail stores and as a Store Manager you will be open to change, adapting, and ensure that the team are on board and motivated to constantly move forwards with the everchanging environment that adapts to meet our customers’ needs and demands.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, a natural seller, you will be there to support and engage the team to drive a selling culture that is professional and ensures that the customer journey is delivering a fantastic customer experience for our products and services, helping the team to focus on achieving amazing results and building your store’s reputation for excellence. We expect nothing but the best to be delivered in terms of service and meeting demand, whilst delivering a store that is not just great for our customers in terms of commercial excellence, but safe and compliant.
As a Designate Store Manager at Halfords, you will spend the majority of your time on the sales floor with your finger on the pulse of everyday store life. Store manager experience ideally in a retail-based environment.
Experience of a management role in a retail environment.
Experience of delivering sales and services targets and managing and influencing KPI’s.
Experience in Microsoft packages.
Experience of managing a team deployment plan, ensuring you have the right people in the right place.
A focus on compliance across Health and Safety, GDPR, QC and all Retail legislation.
