Lupa has recently secured a $945k pre-seed funding round and is leading the way in transforming the pet care industry with our advanced AI-driven platform. Our integrated solution provides a fully equipped operating system for veterinary clinics as well as a consumer-facing mobile app to enable pet parents to manage their pets with ease and book appointments online

About the Job

As a Founding Engineer, you will become a core part of Lupa's tech team, working directly with our CTO ( and with our Engineering Director (

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end across the full stack (e.g., develop and integrate an AI Copilot into our core veterinary solution, build stable integrations with medical machines, etc.).
  • Partner with the CTO and ED in developing new features.
  • Maintain the platform's scalability and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales team to launch new features.

Requirements

  • Expertise in React or React Native, NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with AWS preferred (such as Elastic Beanstalk and Lambda functions).
  • Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development skills.
  • Experience with database technologies such as Firebase, Supabase, and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of software design patterns and data structures.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
