About the SEND school seeking a SEN Class Teacher

The school is a multisite special school that that cater for children of all ages who have a variety of needs such as Autism, SLD and PMLD. The children’s needs and abilities really can vary in complexities therefore there will likely be a class to suit every teacher The exceptional leadership team are passionate about recruiting within which is why the vast majority of their new SLT posts will be taken by existing middle leaders, therefore they will free up lots of middle leadership roles allowing for fast progression. The school recognises the importance of staff wellbeing and therefore individualised CPD is on offer for all staff.

The ideal candidate for this exciting SEN Class Teacher role should….

  • Have QTS/QTLS
  • Be passionate about teaching children and young people with SEN
  • Ready for the SEN Class Teacher challenge and excitement that a new provision brings
  • Have ambition to take on additional responsibilities and leadership
  • Be a brilliant teacher (mainstream teachers are welcome, the school are proven trainers)
