The SEN school provides support to children aged 3-19 with a range of Special Educational Needs, primarily SEMH and communication needs. As a SEN Teacher, you will be joining a team that provides high

quality, specialist teaching and learning through a creative and child

centred curriculum. All pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential in their academic, social, creative, personal, physical and moral development. In your role as a SEN Teacher, you will support pupils to grow in confidence and independence. You will encourage pupils to make a positive contribution to the school and the wider community, in which they are valued as individuals, through the schools vision, values and ethos. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, individualised and creative lessons to foster curiosity and wonder, whilst motivating a love of learning for all students. SEN Class Teacher SEN Class Teacher Working in an All Through SEN School for children with a range of Special Educational Needs - primarily SEMH and communication needs Class Teachers needed for Primary and Secondary departments Delivering creative and engaging SEN lessons Adapting and differentiating the curriculum for individual needs Promoting a lifelong love of learning for children to reach their full potential Safeguard and promote the welfare of children Work collaboratively with allied health professionals and support staff Outer London pay scale MPS 1

SEN Teacher MUST HAVE UK QTS Good academics required - GCSEs, A Levels and Degree Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards Personal or professional understanding of complex learning difficulties Proven record of good / outstanding feedback from lesson observations / performance management Resilient and adaptable Ability to differentiate approach based on individual needs Enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive impact on pupils with SEN Caring and compassionate nature Reflective approach towards role and professional development Reliability and punctuality are a must Confident, with good classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to work well as a team School Details
