A European business is looking for an Interim Senior Internal Communications Manager an initial 6-month contract paying c.£400 per day (inside IR35).


Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this exciting new role will play a key part in shaping the direction of the communications function as they align their communications strategy to a new business strategy. Working both strategically and tactically, the successful candidate will lead on IC (70% of the role) and engage global employees through upcoming changes. They’ll have a broad communications background, with a specialism in internal communications, bringing new ideas and creativity to the table.


This role would suit someone who has worked in a regulated business before and has experience of communicating to internal audiences in different geographies. They’ll be a strategic level practitioner who is also happy to ‘get stuck in’ and roll-out communications materials when needed. Change communications experience is required as is some understanding of digital communications.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining an active and clear communication line across different departments, disseminating reports and communication letters, and devising strategies to improve the company's communications processes
  • Creating internal communications material, such as presentations, newsletters, and announcements
  • Communicating with stakeholders outside the organisation such as shareholders and customers (if required)
  • Addressing issues and concerns and responding to them promptly and professionally
  • Engaging and motivating employees and helping them to do their best for the company


You will need to be available to start by end of July and happy to commute to their Uxbridge office twice a week. Their office is difficult to reach by public transport, best suited to those who owns a car, with plenty of parking on site.
